Operations Committee Report: (Chairperson: Rama Rao Kaza, Tele # 314-822-4417), Memebers: Jiwan Singla, G.V. Naidu, Dandamudi Prasad, M. Pattabhi, Vishnu Patibandla, Nayana Choksi) We have problems in maintaining the bathrooms. Our children are clogging the toilets with rolled balls of paper towels. It is very frustrating and expensive to get the toilets repaired every month. This is the reason why the paper towels dispensers are being found empty. We request all devotees to kindly use Hand Dryers and control the children from misusing the toilets. You might have noticed the new lighting system inside of each shrine. These lights have been donated and installed by Mr. Dick Desouza. God bless him and his family. Once again, this committee requests and reminds all the parents to watch their children to help us keep your temple clean and safe for everyone.

Puja Committee: (Chairperson: Shankar Sastry, Tel. # 636-458-4695, e-mail-smls@me.wustl.edu Cochairperson: Ramarao Kaza, Members: Sri Sampathkumar Bhattacharya (Priest), Sri Srinivasa Dikshitulu Deevi (Priest), Pandit Rameshwar Das (Priest) The Deepavali Puja Celebration with Dhana Lakshmi Puja was a huge success and was attended by well over 600 people - a record attendance! The priests as usual did an outstanding job. There was a peaceful and serene atmosphere during the Puja and there was delicious Prasadam after the Puja. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by parking arrangements and shuttle service. Let this not be a deterrent for you to attend the next major function in the Temple. We learn a new lesson at every function. We are certainly doing our best in correcting our previous mistakes and rectifying the situation. Please bear with us. During 2001, I have had excellent support from the Puja Committee Members- Ashok Choksi, Nayana Choksi, Rita Chaudhary, Ratna Chunduri, Ramadevi Devabhaktuni, Hemanth Kumar, Pattabhi Maddipati, Pramod Mehta, Satish Nayak, Madhu Parhasarathy, Pradeep Ramakrishnan, Prema Krishnarao, Padmaja Sathyanarayan, Chitra Subramanian,Vanitha Talkad, Aravind Upadhya, Sailesh Venkataraman, and Bhagyalakshmi Vittal. With their timely help and dedication, regular poojas as well as all the special events went on very smoothly. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of the above members. Now that year 2002 is approaching it is time to think about renewing Yearly puja sponsorship and Satyanarayana sponsorship. If you are already a sponsor, please renew your sponsorship and if you are not currently a sponsor, please consider becoming a sponsor.

Treasurer's Report: (Treasurer: Pattabhi Maddipati) As reported at the General body meeting on Dec 2, 2001: the finances of the temple look very good. Revenues continue to exceed the expenses. For the ten months ending on October 31, 2001, Income $327,708.69 Expenses $151,077.46 We appreciate the support of the temple through your generous donations and sponsorship of various pujas. The temple is strong financially because of your support. We urge you take advantage of year-end donations and continue or start Annual sponsorship of all of the pujas and/or Satyanarayana pujas. Please call any Board member, Committee Chairperson, Volunteer, or Priest for the above or any of your special needs in temple services. We wish you all a very devotional NEW YEAR.
